Hello everyone!

First and foremost I want to thank each and everyone one of you for following along and checking out my blogs for Divine Destinations. It's been a wonderful semester and I couldn't have done it without you all!

I had a great time with this social media marketing course! I've learned a lot about a few different platforms I was never really familiar with; including this blog! I enjoy writing in blogs now and just may create my own on my own time. I'm also happy I learned how to use twitter. I have been feeling a little left out in the social media era because I couldn't understand the concept of twitter. Now after haven taken this class and learned a bit more about it, I am way more comfortable about it. Another social media that was interesting to learn was pod casts. I really enjoyed the entire process of editing and creating sound waves for my business. I think I will continue to do that about other things that I am passionate about.

For my business, Divine Destinations, social media is a great way to advertise. Being a vacation resort business, pictures and videos work great for showcasing my product. By having real time photos of actual vacation spots, I am able to put people in the shoes of a vacation traveler. The apps such as instagram and vine videos are perfect for exhibiting what my business does. The Magisto app which created a video montage was also a great tool to use for my resort business. If I had a real business I feel like I could excel with using social media platforms like such.

No-Shave November!

That special time of the year is upon us again!      

To honor the ceremonial no-shave November month, our entire staff of men are going to grow and keep their beard! This is to support all of the cancer victims around the world as they typically lose their hair through Chemotherapy. Our staff will of course up-keep and throw a little flair into it! We are actually having a contest between our co-workers so you should be ready to see some pretty interesting looking beards!

With that being said, for anyone who shows up with a beard to check in at any one of our resorts around the world will receive an automatic 10 % off their entire stay! For anyone who checks in with a styled up looking beard will receive a generous 20% off of their stay! Keep in mind this goes all month so be sure to keep those beards on point!

Halloween is approaching!

While everyone is gearing to get ready for this year's festivities where will you be?

All this week and next leading up to Halloween we will be having various sales on resort stays. Check with our staff by calling our corporate office (715) 867-5309 and see if one of your desired destinations is on sale this week!

We will also be having a costume contest the night of Halloween at our corporate office parking lot in Eau Claire, WI around 7 p.m. The winner of the contest will receive a free 3 day 2 night stay at any of our resorts in the world! Kid Cudi Concert!

This week, on behalf of the man on the moon himself, we are throwing a concert down under at our premier resort in Sydney, Australia. Kid Cudi and 3 local rappers (TBA) will be performing Friday night @ 8 p.m. local time. Tickets are $30 and half of the proceeds will go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation! 

We are committed to recognizing national breast cancer month and encourage everyone to attend this event. For anyone who wears pink while purchasing any excursions at our resorts will receive a generous 10% off! Also, anyone who donates any money to The National Breast Cancer Foundation through us will receive an additional 10% off!
